Motion from December 8, 2016 Traffic Safety Commission: Invitation to the District of Metchosin and the City of Colwood to become members of the Traffic Safety Commission
Recommendation

That the Transportation Committee recommend to the Capital Regional District Board:
That the Capital Regional District Board correspond with both the District of Metchosin and the City of Colwood to request they consider joining the balance of the Capital Regional District municipalities and become a participant in the Traffic Safety Commission Service; and
That the Traffic Safety Commission Board Chair or representative, and the Capital Regional District Board member on the Commission represent the board and meet with the councils, and/or make presentations to the councils to define the benefit to their communities of participation.
