Correspondence: Letter from District of Central Saanich to Environmental Services Committee Chair re Derelict and Abandoned Vessels (October 23, 2017)
Recommendation
That the Environmental Services Committee receive the item of correspondence from the District of Central Saanich dated October 23, 2017 and recommend to the CRD Board:
That the CRD Board endorse the District of Central Saanich’s initiatives to:
(a) apply to the Province for a license of occupation over the water of Brentwood Bay for the purpose of managing vessel moorage; and
(b) apply to have Brentwood Bay declared a Designated Sewage Area for the purpose of managing sewage discharges from vessels.
