Draft Regional Housing Affordability Strategy
Recommendation
1. That the 2026 Regional Housing Affordability Strategy, attached as Appendix B, be approved;
2. That staff be directed to include the actions contained in the 2026 Regional Housing Affordability Strategy in the 2027-2030 Board prioritization and corporate planning processes for consideration; and
3. That staff be authorized to engage other orders of government to explore partnership opportunities to support renewal and development of non-market housing and rural and remote housing needs.
