Recommendation

[At the June 4, 2025 Hospitals and Housing Committee meeting, there was no mover of the recommendation or alternatives in the staff report, instead the following motion arising was carried:]

The Hospitals and Housing Committee recommends to the Capital Regional District Board:

That staff be directed to prepare and launch an application to the BC Housing Community Housing Fund with the Capital Regional Housing Corporation (CRHC) as the lead proponent and consider a future property management agreement with the Galiano Affordable Living Initiative (GALI).
