Regional Grant-in-Aid: Support for the Reconciliation Corridor Initiative
Recommendation
That the Capital Regional District Board resolves:
1. That the Reconciliation Corridor Initiative is deemed eligible for funding under the Regional Grant-in-Aid Service; and
2. That up to $1.7 million be conditionally approved as a regional grant-in-aid to the Island Corridor Foundation to support the Reconciliation Corridor Initiative, subject to establishment of a new grant agreement setting out the appropriate terms and conditions, including reporting and payment provisions; and
3. That the Chief Administrative Officer and the Board Chair be authorized to finalize and execute the grant agreement on behalf of the Capital Regional District, consistent with this resolution.
